Hi, I’m Brent. My culinary career has given me the chance to cook alongside chefs, home cooks, and hundreds of students. I have noticed one familiar thread that ties all three together. The desire to reduce food waste.
- The Chef: to maximize profits by putting every ingredient to delicious use
- The Home Cook: to minimize the guilt of throwing away spoiled chicken or vegetables
- The Student: to not starve because they’re broke
The hardest part of cooking the food we already have is deciding what to make. When we can’t decide, it’s easier to tap the app. and order-in.
